Coffee Cake

Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) block cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ cup milk
- Topping:
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- ¼ cup flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Cream butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Add sugar. Add eggs one at a time and combine well. Combine milk and vanilla and add to creamed mixture.
- Combine dry ingredients and add to cream mixture. Blend for 3 minutes. Place into 3 greased and floured round cake pans (I just buy the tin foil, disposable ones at the grocery store).
- Combine the topping ingredients. Sprinkle the topping over the cake batter and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
