Cinnamon Bread
Ingredients
- 4 cups warm water
- 4 tablespoons yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 12-14 cups flour
Instructions
- Put warm water, yeast and sugar in mixer. Let yeast begin to work for a few minutes. Add oil, salt, and 4 cups flour an mix. Add remaining flour a cup at a time until dough is desired consistency and comes away from the sides of the bowl. Don't let dough get too stiff and dry.
- I usually let the machine knead it for 3-4 minutes. Let the dough rise until double. Punch down and cut the dough into 4 section.
- Roll each section out in a rectangle the width of your bread pan. Mix about 1/2 cup sugar with some cinnamon as you like it. Sprinkle mixture on dough and roll up and place in a well greased bread pan. Repeat with the rest of the dough. Let Rise.
- Bake at 350 for about 25-30 minutes or until done.
- When loaves are cool, you can glaze them with a mix of powdered sugar, butter, vanilla and a little milk or leave them plain.
