Carmel Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/3 cup whipping cream or light cream
- 2 tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In saucepan, mix sugar and cornstarch. Stir in 1/4 cup water. Stir in cream and corn syrup. Cook and stir until bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more. Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla. Serve warm or cool.
