Custard
Ingredients
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar (rounded cup)
- 1/2 cup corn starch
- 3 oz. vanilla pudding - cooking kind
- 2 eggs slightly beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
- Heat milk over medium heat.
- Combine sugar, corn starch, vanilla pudding in a separate bowl.
- Mix together 1 cup milk and eggs, slightly beat.
- When the milk is warm add the eggs and milk and the sugar mixture. Stir over medium heat until thick - do not let boil.
- Take off the heat and add butter and vanilla.
