Chicken Salad
Ingredients
- 3 cups chicken breasts
- 1 cup red grapes
- ½ cup real mayonnaise
- 1 cup thinly sliced celery
- 1 can mandarin oranges
- ¼ cup slivered almonds
- 3 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon dry minced onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ to 1 teaspoon basil
Instructions
- Boil Chicken until fully cooked. When cooled, shred.
- Soak chicken in lemon juice, minced onion, salt, garlic powder, and basil.
- Mix chicken mixture with the mayonnaise then add celery, mandarin oranges, and grapes.
- Serve over a bed of lettuce or in a roll or croissant. Best is served cold.
