Microwave Caramel Popcorn
Ingredients
- 4 qts. Popped popcorn
- 1 c. brown sugar
- ¼ c. light corn syrup
- ½ c butter
- ½ tsp. baking soda
Instructions
- Put popped popcorn in a brown paper grocery bat that has been sprayed liberally with non-stick spray (inside).
- Bring sugar and butter to a boil. Add baking soda and stir well. Remove from heat quickly so it does not boil over. Pour mixture over the popcorn.
- Fold down the top of the bag and place in the microwave. Cook on high for 1 ½ min. Remove and shake. Put back in microwave for 30 seconds. Remove and shake. Cook for another 30 seconds and then remove and bounce on counter to break up clusters. Yum!
