Grabow’s Spicy Hoisin Maranade
Ingredients
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 2 T. fresh squeezed orange juice
- 2 T. freshly grated ginger
- 2 T. hoisin sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 scallions white and green parts –thinly sliced
- 1 T. dry mustard
- 1 t. crushed red pepper flakes
- zest of 1 orange
Instructions
- Wisk all ingredients together and add to meat (Pork tenderloin is our favorite) 1 portion will marinade about 2 lbs of meat. Add marinade to trimmed meat in a large ziplock bag, release the air, and refrigerate for about 24 hours.
- Dreain excess marinade from meat prior to grilling. You can brush extra marinade onto meat during grilling if desired. Meat can also be roasted in the oven.
