Betty Lou Pie Crust
Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 2/3 cups crisco
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp water
Instructions
- Sift flour and salt together
- Take 2 cups of flour mixture and add crisco and combine until no dry particles of the flour mixture remain.
- Add the rest of the flour mixture. Cut in with a spoon until flour particles get bigger. Add water all at once. Stir until the dough forms a ball about 1-2 minutes.
- Form into two balls with your hands and cover and refrigerate.
- Makes 2 - 9 inch pie shells. Roll 1/8 inch thick.
